Product Overview

  RDM8802K-A is a bidirectional RDM-DMX512 signal distributor with a built-in universal international standard RDM (Remote Device Management) lighting protocol. It provides a bidirectional communication path for RDM devices, reshapes and amplifies both RDM data and DMX512 data, and expands the input signal into multiple output channels.
  This function extends the signal transmission distance, increases the number of lamps connectable to the control console, and ensures stable and reliable signal transmission. RDM8802K-A is equipped with mutually isolated power supplies for each port, and photoelectric isolation technology is adopted for signal transmission of each port, ensuring no electrical connection between any ports.
  Meanwhile, each pin of every port is equipped with surge high-voltage absorption and protection circuits, which effectively blocks mutual crosstalk caused by high-voltage pulses in the network, suppresses high-voltage pulses, and guarantees the safety of equipment in the network as well as reliable communication.
  RDM8802K-A also supports on-site "split-merge" function. Simply toggle the switch, it can be "split" into two 4-channel RDM devices, or "merged" into one 8-channel RDM device. This function meets on-site emergency needs, enhances equipment configuration flexibility, reduces the number of equipment, saves installation space, and cuts costs at the same time.
